Rude Awakening: A Reality Series

TITLE: Rude Awakening

FORMAT: Reality Series

LOGLINE: Teens' lifestyles transposed for an all-new Rude Awakening, experience the drama of completely mixed-up standards of living, from rags to riches or country dwelling to urban alleyways, on MTV prime-time

TREATMENT: Each episode, individuals ages 13 to 19 are confronted with a whole new way of living: a new environment, a different perspective, and a culture and comfort zone flipped upside down. The swapped teens are subjected to "foreign" lifestyles, which opens their eyes to a world they never knew existed. For a solid two weeks, they dodge in and out of high school drama and are forced to deal with unfamiliar and seemingly unsolvable conflicts. For example, a low-class New Yorker, exposed daily to tempting drugs and harsh gun violence, who lives with his divorced, unemployed mother in an apartment could switch with a spoiled, preppy girl who dwells in a four-story mansion in the rural landscape of Colorado. In addition to the culture shock of a new residence, both teenagers must take on all roles and responsibilities of their partner in order to fully experience the opposing lifestyle. First introduced to their respective residences, the course of the show weaves back and forth between the two people, ending with a rehash and the teens' analysis of each other's lifestyles, problems encountered, and surprising quirks.

Jennifer Aniston with Bradley Cooper? Lies.

What Happened:

Actor Bradley Cooper was seen with actress Jennifer Aniston on a date. News reporters assumed they were together and the information was posted everywhere. Apparently though, this was just a rumor and there is nothing going on between the two.

In hopes of fixing the problem, Cooper denies that there was ever a romance to People magazine. He explains that he was only in D.C. where Aniston was during his USO tour. Along with Cooper, Gerard Butler is also denying any relationship with Aniston. He claimed the rumors to be "annoying".
In France Cooper was told of the rumor and simply laughed and denied the whole thing.

Budweiser Commercial

1. The commercial starts off with a picture of Scotland and a narrator. They show Clydesdale horses so you automatically know it's the Budweiser horse. It's cute, the way they make the horse seem human (example: horse on boat with people to go to america). People watching will say "aww" and laugh.

2. You can automatically know it's a Budweiser horse because Clydesdale horses were used to pull Budweiser carriages. They make the Budweiser horses look intense and very superior and the carriage is bright and eye catching.

3. The target audience are people starting from teens to any age. It's an alcoholic beverage that is not portrayed as girly, young, manly or old. You don't know what the product is until the very end where they show the logo and slogan of Budweiser.

4. There's nothing urgency-stressing about the commerical. It's a calm commerical from the scottish music and clips of the parts in the horse's heritage as he tells it.

5. The ad is not about the consumer product at all really. It is a "feel good" ad, because it's cute and entertaining. Everyone will enjoy it after watching it although it doesnt trigger them to want the product... but maybe a Clydesdale horse.

KP is not for Kim Possible

My name is Kelly Pierce but my friends call me KP. I'm going to be a senior in a small, spoiled rich town in Fairfield County Connecticut. I play varsity tennis on a team that is 44-0... yes, we're that good. I have two huge dogs but I'm obsessed with horses. My dream is to move to the U.K. and get a horse... and an Audi R8 or Aston Martin... doesnt matter which. I listen to a mix of stuff: Radiohead, Family Force 5, Pendulum (techno), Muse, Nirvana, Silverchair(australian band). Look up Silverchair if you havent heard of them. They were popular in the 90's and huge in Australia still. If you like rock, alternative, or even grundge you'll like Silverchair.

song in my head of the day: "My Black Son" by Peter Griffin
WARNING: This song WILL get in your head.
